Hot Wacks credits the concert as Pennsylvania State University, 06/29/1974, but probably the correct recording date is 04/29/1974 at Stanley Warner Theatre in Pittsburgh. Sound quality excellent and higly emotional. We have to say that Book of Saturday and Schizoid Man are the same from UN REVE as many times it has happen used as tape filling.

"This was the first gig since the 1969 Crimson where the bottom of my spine registered "out of this world" to the same degree. The 1969 outfit began at the top and then disappeared. This team took two years to get to the same point of being-out-there-ness. As the sun went down and we moved into the ominous bass riff emerging from the "Starless" vocal, red stage lights faded up from behind the band. King Crimson "Volkhaus(Siréne-152)" tour of Europe in the spring of 1973

King Crimson’s tour of Europe in the spring of 1973 was very short, lasting just over a week. It began on March 30th in Hanover and ended April 9th in Paris and is one of the better documented of their career. The tape for the Zürich show on April 8th surfaced on the internet earlier this year. There are two cdr releases, Zurich ,Volkhaus 1973,4.8 and Swiss Made on Blue Cafe. The sound quality is very good and clear with no distortion or balance issues. It is slightly distant from the stage and there is a small venue feel making the range a bit narrow.

King Crimson Central Park. NY, June 25, 1973

After looking at past reviews on the CMR site one can easily determine that the majority of the reviews focus on the creative mid seventies and the line up of Bill Bruford on drums, Jamie Muir on percussion , John Wetton on bass and vocals, David Cross on violin and keyboards, and Robert Fripp on guitar. The line up released the incredible Larks Tongues in Aspic record in late 1972 and toured incessantly to promote the new work. The band’s new line up was a superb departure from the earlier Crimson sound and the music produced during this time would go on to influence a new breed on progressive music, known as progressive metal (one can easily trace King Crimson > Rush > Tool > Mastodon).

Aquí el grupo suena mejor, la selección de los temas está más cuidada, está presente la posproducción (Eddie Jobson, de Roxy Music, pone violín y piano en algunos temas)...
